Tell me about some research you have conducted

Well, I have conducted some research for Project Work. The topic given to us to research on is Carbon Footprint. When I heard the words, my first reaction was what is it all about? We are given 2 weeks to do research on that topic. And I found out that there are many definitions, so I really need a lot of time and patience to get to the right form. My group members were also frantically searching for this information. As none of us heard it before, it has become a challenge. After our research, we found out what is carbon footprint, how to calculate our carbon footprint and why do we measures carbon footprint. All this information will be posted on the blog. Groups are given a choice to do this topic in poster, bookmark, blog, videos and flyers. This helps to educate the teenagers or adults on what is carbon footprint. The topic is somehow interesting and after researching, we need to do a survey. If people can understand what we are talking about and how they can do it at home by using the carbon footprint calculator on the internet. It will be fun when we know how to do it.

After this is done, we need to do a presentation to present to the class and teacher the outcome of the results and what have we learn during this process. For me, I have learned to be more patience as this is needed when we are researching. During researching, even if we cannot find the information we wanted. We must not give up so easily. As there is a saying that goes: When there is a will, there is a way. We can try other search engines. And I have also learned to lead my group, a fair distribution of the works to all group members.

I think that people are attempting the low elements also known as the 'spider web'. Participants are gathered around at the campsite as shown in the background, like the tent. They are having an outdoor activity. The boy in the foreground is probably worried, as he is the one that is going through the web. He might feel scared, as if the teammates around him did not hold onto him, he may just fall. The girls at the background are cheering for the guys. They did not join to help the boy in the foreground; probably they did not have the strength to carry the boy into the web. Having the outdoor team-building activity, it can build up the bond between friends and teammates. As we can see, the teammates are feeling elated and maybe a little nervous too.

By having this kind of games, participants can learn how to co-operate with each other. And they can learn to lean on each other when they needed help. What we cannot be done, can be done when friends are together and work as a team. They can be done when helping each other. Friends should help each other when in need, so that we can rely on them. Teammates are to work as a team, to co-operate with one other. Even though there maybe times when they might argue with each other, argument should be solve quickly.

I once visited the Orphanage when I was in Primary 6. Children there had to do everything by themselves, without any help. Some bigger children will bully the weaker children.
It is a sad thing, children did not do any wrong, so why do they have do feel neglected and unloved? Some is being forced; they did not have any parent when they are born. Some being adopted was soon treated like slave and maids. Beaten by them, and abuses them. They did not want this kind of life, but fate had given them. They envy those people who have their parents to love and care about their children. They wanted to have parents and friends who can treat them with love and care. They do not want to be so lonely. They have to learn how to be independent, not like kids nowadays. Spoilt by their parents and everything they done, they called their maids to do for them. It is not really fair; they have to think about the children in the orphanage. If they had been to the orphanage, they will probably know how to be independent, and not ask their maids to do for them.
Children now are more fortunate. But still, there are still children at the orphanage that we need to pity. They needed our love. Not being bullied and abuse by people, or even being bully by the big bully at the orphanage. People should not laugh at them too; they do not want this kind of life. But do they have a choice? No, they do not. So children should care more about the children in the orphanage rather than using their times on playing computer games. They needed our love and pity towards them. While not laughing at them, neglecting them.

When I was small, I was afraid of the lightning. When there was a lightning, I will covered my ears and scream for my mother. Sometimes I will shiver too. The lightning sound lis simliar to the sound of explosion. When the lightning came, my world turned white immediately. The type of terror could not be described. Sometimes, when the lightning happen in the middle of the night, I would erected suddenly. Whenever I see the sky black or red, it feels like ominous. I will be scared. As I grow up, I am not afraid of the thunder anymore. Nevertheless, I am still getting use to listen to the lighting sound.
